Director Duane L. Sherrill, Ph.D.
Dr. Sherrill, a biostatistician, has many years of experience as a researcher, administrator, and teacher in higher education. He has held principal- and co-investigator roles on numerous federally and nonfederally funded clinical research projects.
As director of biometry in the Arizona Respiratory Center, Dr. Sherrill works with research and clinical fellows and faculty in designing and conducting both epidemiological and clinical trial studies.
In addition to these roles, Dr. Sherrill is the Associate Dean for Research in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and directs the Biostatistics Consulting Unit in the Arizona Health Sciences Center (AHSC).

Several committees provide recommendations and guidance for curricular development, recruitment and evaluation of applicants, and other issues related to the program’s structure. These committees include representatives from the AHSC Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health.
