Researchers at the College of Public HealthThe UA Zuckerman College of Public Health ’s portfolio is diverse, ranging from bench science to community-based research.

Funding is obtained from a wide variety of sources including federal agencies such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), as well as national and local foundations, among others.

Additionally, cancer prevention and control research is performed in conjunction with the Arizona Cancer Center, an NCI-designated cancer research center.

Public Health Research
Dr. Duane SherrillDuane Sherrill Ph.D., is the Associate Dean for Research at the Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and he is also a Professor in the Epidemiology & Biostatistics Division.
