- On Friday, October 24, 2003 AzCHOW
held its first annual Business meeting and training session.
At this meeting the Board of Directors was elected by the members of
AzCHOW and officers of the corporation-to-be were chosen by the new
Board of Directors (see Who We Are
and picture on the right). Also, four of the women who were
part of the founding AzCHOW members. Belen Feather, Elsa Cocoa,
Cynthia Thomas, and Nancy Collyer, were recognized for the
work they had done to make AzCHOW what it is today.
- November was designated as member recruitment month. All
AzCHOW members were sent applications and asked to enroll at least
one additional person. We currently have 21 community health
worker members and 10 supporting members.
