Biography

Dr. Keim is Professor and Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine.  He also serves as Director of the Arizona Emergency Medicine Research Center (AEMRC), an Arizona Board of Regents designated center of research excellent.  Dr. Keim research interests include Clinical Epidemiology, Knowledge Transfer, Heat Stroke and Clinical Informatics.  He is Section Editor for Evidence Based Medicine for the Journal of Emergency Medicine.  The AEMRC is an important platform for collaborative research with developed research collaborations in Emergency Medicine Systems, Clinical and Translational Research, Sepsis/Infectious Diseases, Knowledge Transfer and Geriatric Emergency Medicine.  The Department of Emergency Medicine includes over fifty academic faculty that work in two busy clinical environments.
