Why did you choose public health?I love the idea of having an impact on someone's health before they get sick. The idea of focusing on primary care instead of tertiary care makes a lot of sense to me.
Why did you choose MEZCOPH?I have a lot of family in Tucson so I knew I would have a great support system, they were a top 25 public health school, and you have a unique community in Tucson to work with.
Public health interests:Disease Prevention, Global Health, Hispanic Health, Nutrition & Diet
Interests/hobbies outside of school:Dancing, being in nature to disconnect, reading.
Tip for future students:Never be afraid to ask your teachers for help. Better to get help immediately than to wait until it's too late.
