Why did you choose public health?

I love the idea of having an impact on someone's health before they get sick. The idea of focusing on primary care instead of tertiary care makes a lot of sense to me.

    Why did you choose MEZCOPH?

I have a lot of family in Tucson so I knew I would have a great support system, they were a top 25 public health school, and you have a unique community in Tucson to work with.

    Public health interests:

Disease Prevention, Global Health, Hispanic Health, Nutrition & Diet

    Interests/hobbies outside of school:

Dancing, being in nature to disconnect, reading.

    Tip for future students:

Never be afraid to ask your teachers for help. Better to get help immediately than to wait until it's too late.
