    Before entering the program:

    Before entering the program, I completed my MClinDent degree from UK and returned back to India to work as a practicing dentist in a private dental practice.

    Why did you choose public health?

    The pandemic has opened my eyes to the dire need of public health professionals and the contributions they can bring to the field. This has in turn strengthened my interest towards Public Health.

    Why did you choose MEZCOPH?

    MEZCOPH has a positive environment with high learning standards and a world-class faculty. I am particularly interested in understanding the health services administration aspect of the course and I believe that the curriculum here is best tailored to suit my interests.

    Public health interests:

    Disease Management, Disease Prevention, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Global Health, Health Disparities, Health of Women, Children and Families, Health Promotion, Tobacco and Substance Abuse

    Interests/hobbies outside of school:

    I love traveling and exploring different parts of the world. I am also a big foodie and love trying and experimenting different cuisines. I enjoy dancing and water sport activities.

    Tip for future students:

    Get to know a wide range of people including faculty, staff and students. Networking is important and who you know is just as important as what you know. Always be proactive and take charge of your future.
