    Before entering the program:

    I was finishing my MSPH at Tulane University working on projects with near shore water quality, fecal indicator organisms, food safety, viruses, and bacteria.

    Why did you choose public health?

    I chose public health as it allowed me to combine my passion for microbial water quality and human health.

    Why did you choose MEZCOPH?

    I chose MEZCOPH because it allowed me to further develop skills, increase my knowledge, and prepare me for the future.

    Public health interests:

    Microbial water quality, food safety, human health risk

    Dissertation:

    Prevalence, exposure, and risk associated with pathogenic Vibrio in Pacific Oysters harvested in southern California

    Interests/hobbies outside of school:

    Crossfit, climbing, cycling, trail running
