    Completing my undergraduate degree and working as a medical scribe.

    Why did you choose public health?

    I chose public health because I wanted to understand the components of health and discover the connection between environment and health.

    Why did you choose MEZCOPH?

    I wanted to stay in Tucson and the University of Arizona community.

    Public health interests:

    Health Disparities, Health of Women, Children and Families, Health Promotion

    Internship:

    Working with Dr. Nuño and the Growing Girls program

    Interests/hobbies outside of school:

    I love soccer, both playing and watching, and I really enjoy playing with my cats.

    Tip for future students:

    Take your health seriously. What I mean is focus in you mental health and don’t neglect to take care of yourself, stay active and stay connected to others.
