    Program Coordinator in the UA College of Medicine and College of Nursing for complementary and alternative medicine interventions.

    Why did you choose public health?

    The opportunity to make nutrition and healthy lifestyles accessible and approachable for high risk populations to improve health outcomes on individual, interpersonal and community levels.

    Why did you choose MEZCOPH?

    Research opportunities related to health promotion and technology and the close connection with UA Cancer Center. The faculty within MEZCOPH provide thorough and high quality mentorship personalized to a student's interests and goals.

    Public health interests:

    Cancer Prevention and Control, Cancer Health Disparities, Nutrition Behavior and Education, Nutritional Epidemiology, Women’s Health

    Dissertation:

    Development of a tailored digital lifestyle intervention for adolescent and young adult cancer survivors.

    Interests/hobbies outside of school:

    Yoga, Hiking, Baking and Cooking, Table Top Games, Camping and Off-roading

    Tip for future students:

    Take time to enjoy the sunshine! Either through walking, cycling, hiking, gardening, or enjoying green spaces on campus... You get a mental boost from being outside, benefiting your overall health, vitality, clarity, and focus.
