    Proximity to the border.

    Public health interests:

    Global child health and infectious diseases.

    Internship:

    Infectious disease research internship. I am proud of going to Kenya with Dr. Ernst. I had a phenomenal experience abroad and was exposed to a type of research that I would really like to continue.

    Interests/hobbies outside of school:

    Yoga, rock climbing, cycling, and hiking!
