"The curriculum and overall structure employed by MEZCOPH has enabled me to be the creator of my own experience. The College offers many opportunities to apply course principles to improve and strengthen the community in which we live. There are also multiple public health based and inter-professional student clubs that have enabled me to deepen my awareness of public health based challenges and the changing landscape of healthcare delivery. At MEZCOPH, there are ample opportunities to get involved with early and often."

    Before entering the program:

    I had been conducting health-related fitness research in a local American Indian Community, traveling (China and Israel), and strengthening my health!

    Why did you choose public health?

    To develop the skills necessary to identify, assess, control, and ultimately prevent major health problems facing communities near and far!

    Why did you choose MEZCOPH?

    Arizona is the BEST! MEZCOPH offers me the best opportunity to deepen my understanding of public health within a strong inter-professional environment.

    Public health interests:

    Infectious and Chronic Diseases, preparedness, assisting in underserved communities, among others.

    Internship:

    The effect of Emergency Service Response Times to Motor Vehicle Crashes on Health Outcome in Arizona

    Interests/hobbies outside of school:

    College and professional sports, running, swimming, hiking, cooking & eating, clinical medicine, family, traveling, movies, etc.
