Understanding Ecologic Stress, Risk and Health Resiliencies in Mexican- Origin Adults Living in a High Poverty Rural Community

This project will help to explain the types of stress that may cause health problems among adults in a low-income, predominantly Mexican-origin border community. Guided by a community-based participatory research, this project explores how stress is defined and how community members respond to stress. The findings will inform strategies to lower stress and promote Latinos’ health.

This project is receiving federal funding.
