What else are you involved in?I am in a community service fraternity (Alpha Phi Omega)), and serve as a tutor in the SALT Center!
Why choose the UA / What’s awesome about the UA:The University of Arizona is awesome because there are so many opportunities available and most majors (public health included) allow field experience.
Why did you choose public health?Public health is so cool because it allows a broader view of health. I really enjoy the prevention aspect as well as promotion of health behaviors.
What are your career goals:After graduating, I will be attending graduate school with the goal of earning an MPH in epidemiology. I hope to one day become an epidemiologist.
Fun Fact about you (hobbies, trivia, etc.):I love to travel! I studied abroad with the College of Public Health on their Northern Europe/Human Sexuality trip!
One piece of advice for incoming students (transfer and freshmen):If I had one piece of advise for incoming and transfer students, I would tell them to pursue any opportunities that come their way!
