Young Global Leader Program

The Young Global Leader Program gives rising 11th and 12th graders the opportunity to explore public health through hands-on experiences in research, health sciences career exploration, participation in professional lectures and seminars, lab experiences and field trips.

The Young Global Leader program is designed for local, national, and global high school students with in-person and remote options available. Exploration in academic tracks including Global Health, One Health, Environmental & Occupational Health, Data Science for Population Health, Health Behavior Health Promotion, Health Education, Aging and Population Health, Health and Wellness, and Health Education.

The in-person program will include daily lunch, mini-lectures, workshops, course auditing, peer mentoring and local excursions.


The Young Global Leader Program runs June – August with options for one or two-week sessions.
