Andi Medrano

Andi earned their Master of Social Work from the University of Washington in Seattle, where they dedicated the past 4 years to community-based non-profits. In their last position at NAMI Seattle, Andi coordinated peer-led mental health programs and led efforts in Spanish-language and LGBTQ+ programming. Before venturing into the non-profit sector, Andi spent 8 years contributing to mental health research in Arizona and Wisconsin, including at the University of Arizona. A southern Arizona native, Andi is glad to return to their roots in their role as the Core Research Manager for UNIDOS at the Arizona Prevention Research Center and work in the communities they grew up in.
